Enter Ampfest

To enter AmpFest you need to be a young, original, unsigned West Australian band, duo or solo artist. The majority of band members must be between 12 and 25 years old. Band members under the age of 18 must have parental/guardian consent to be involved in the competition.

Bands that have competed in the Final for previous years are not eligible to compete in AmpFest 2010.

In addition to the Application forms you will need to send in:

  • $15 Registration Fee
  • A demo CD recording of your work, including 2 or 3 original songs together with song titles and lyrics (please ensure the CD is adequately labeled and packaged for postage and note that recordings on mediums other than CD will not be accepted).
  • Band Biographies - A full biography (up to 1 A4 page maximum) detailing number of band members, instruments used, musical genre, how long the band has been together and performance history.
  • An abridged biography (40 word maximum, if your band is selected this will be printed in promotion of the event).
  • A photo of the band.
