Five months ago, having been in other bands recently, Chasing the Ninth decided to sit down and write an EP that would satisfy their love in certain genres of music.

After an intense writing period and with the help of Matty Gio [Producer] and Forrester Savell [Mixing, Mastering] (Dead Letter Circus, Karnivool, Butterfly Effect), Chasing the Ninth have returned from Melbourne having completed their first EP (Subway to Sleeping Cities) due for a release in September 2010.

With a blend of intense driving guitars, booming rhythms, electro, classic rock and hardcore, Chasing the Ninth are intent on striving forward and creating an undeniably pumping sound.
