SISTERS DOLL - AmpFest 2011 WINNERS

Sisters Doll are the winners of Drug Aware AmpFest 2011, after a memorable performance at the Octagon Theatre last Saturday September 3 2011.

Despite blowing the Octagon’s power during their set, the trio of brothers from Collie shrugged off the setback and strutted to first place and the lion’s share of over $10 000 worth of prizes.

Sugarpuss came in second, with Patient Little Sister third and Room at the Reservoir in fourth. Tim and Jean headlined the event and wowed the all-ages crowd with a dynamic synth pop show.

Sisters Doll will cash-in their prizes at Soundbaker Studios with 6 days worth of recording and mixing time, mastering at Shanghai Twang, an RTRFM promotional package and a photography prize courtesy of WAM. All finalists receive Zenith Music vouchers and a share of the recording prizes.

Congratulations to all the acts who’ve competed this year and helped make 2011 the biggest year of AmpFest’s history so far.
