AmpFest 2010 - Plug In. Rock Out. is a chance for up and coming, young bands and solo artists to get noticed in the music industry! This pioneering youth battle of the bands will give you the opportunity to play in front of a pumping live audience, meet music industry professionals and share in a fantastic prize pool worth over $10,000!

Band Development Workshops

All 12 bands attended the Drug Aware band Development Workshops. These workshops include the opportunity for the bands to meet, learn from, and interact with reputable songwriters, band managers and studio technicians. Other areas that may be covered during the workshops include: grant writing techniques, potential funding avenues and a presentation from the previous years AmpFest winners.

All bands enjoyed the opportunity to here from industry professionals and took a lot away from the event and look forward to putting what they learnt into their music.
